Association of Nebraska Art Club's Travel Show is being hosted by The Art and Gift Gallery of North Platte
The Art and Gift Gallery, 516 North Dewey, North Platte, is hosting the Association of Nebraska Art Club's Travel Show. The show consists of 24 Certificate of Achievement Award pieces and Best of Show. The Show was held at the ANAC conference in June in Bellevue. The show travels to 27 cities over the year. Best of Show, Coconut Invasion, is by North Platte artist Sandra K. Meyer. A pottery piece by Wava Best also of North Platte is also in the show. The artwork will be here through Thursday. The next stop will be McCook.
The gallery is also hosting the Bulldog High School Art Show. Artwork is from North Platte and area town. It will be shown through the end of the month.
If you have never been to the gallery, stop in soon. There are five large rooms of art and special shows monthly.
The next show will be a photography show, with entries accepted from the public. Entries will be taken March 7 and 8. The show will hang through March. Call the gallery at 534-1946 for entry details. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
