The Crazy Horse Singers give thanks
to the Creator for all the many good blessings that have come to them through
prayers, and teachings. Through the many sleepless nights, long road trips,
and the hardships of being a singer, we give thanks to our families, our
companions, and our children for being supportive in every way.
We also give thanks to the elder
women for their teachings, the elder men for bestowing upon us our traditions,
and Lakota ways.
To the veterans, our warriors, for so many sacrifices they have given, so
we can be here today.
To the spiritual leaders for the prayers and blessings, Wopila Tanka to
the Wica Gla Ta, for their voices bring power and harmony to the song.
Special thanks to Jessica Vocu, an inspiration to us, who's voice brings
encouragement to the youth, to the young drum groups who are learning and
singing the songs of our people.
We thank the Lakota Oyate for the ongoing and continuous support wherever
we travel. Through our endeavors, we stand proud to be Lakota. Lastly, we
thank Wiconi Wa ste Productions for the work they have done to support us.
