Wiconi Wa ste Productions was formed in January of 2003. Members of Wiconi
Wa ste Productions consist of enrollees of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
in South Dakota. Frank Jamerson -Producer/Recording Engineer, Lawrence
Archambault - Graphics Layout Designer, Beau Fontenelle - Mix Master/Web
Master.
Wiconi Wa ste Productions is currently producing Pow-Wow music from various
artists, and will be doing studio recording once our new studio is completed.
Wiconi Wa ste Productions offers production of music for all artists.
Upon completion of the new studio, the company will be offering all types
of recordings, i.e.: Band, Gospel, Rap, Country and Western.
Our latest production: Crazy Horse
Singers/ "Live In The Hills" was the groups ground breaking first
release! Crazy Horse singers are from the Pine Ridge Agency, South Dakota,
and are more of a Traditional Style group.
Currently in the works, we have the production of: Black Bull Jr. from the
Wind River Reservation, Wyoming. Their new release of " Dance In Beauty"
will be out around the first of July. The renowned singers: Elk's Whistle,
from Regina, Saskatchewan, are currently in production with their latest
CD, to be available in late July. Upcoming projects include the following
Native American Drum Groups: Pass Creek from Allen, South Dakota, Pheasant
Tail Singers from Tama, Iowa, and the Sun Eagle Singers out of Shiprock,
New Mexico. We will also be releasing a Pow-Wow compilation recorded in
Kenel, South Dakota. This recording features eight drum groups from Indian
Country, to be available in late July as well. Please be watching for more
from the Pow-Wow Trail!
Wiconi Wa ste productions was formed to support the existing artists, as
well as to promote new artists. We, in conjunction with the artists, will
strive provide the best that Indian Country offers, BY INDIAN COUNTRY, AND
FOR INDIAN COUNTRY!
