It is easy to be proud of the North Platte area. One only needs to look
at the neatly landscaped homes, the clean and friendly shopping areas, or
the tree-shaded parks to understand why people like the quality of life
found here.
There is a sense of belonging in this community that I'm sure is envied
by those who reside in large metropolitan areas. It is a community where
families can grow.

There is also a sense of accomplishment
found in our area. There is a well-established community college that is
striving to meet the needs of businesses and their employees through educational
training, as well as two- and four-year-degree programs for anyone wishing
to learn new skills and ideas.
There are shaded parks, swimming pools, fishing holes, lakes, rivers, orchestras,
theatrical plays, sports, airports, churches, great shopping, libraries,
senior centers and about everything else a proud and vibrant community would
want to have for its citizens.
On behalf of the business community, I would like to say "Welcome to
North Platte." Whether you plan to stay permanently or for just a few
days, the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce encourages you to explore
North Platte and enjoy all it has to offer.
We want you to "Come On In." You'll be glad you did.
