Lisa Cox is
the Executive Director of the North Platte/Lincoln County Convention
& Visitors Bureau
Dear Visitor:
On behalf of the North Platte Lincoln County Convention and Visitors
Bureau, I would like to welcome you to our fine city. I hope that during
your stay in North Platte you take time to enjoy the special attractions
we have to offer you.
Whatever your interest, North Platte was something for you. If history
is your game then visit the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park,
Fort Cody, the Wild West Memorial in Cody Park and the Lincoln County
Historical Museum.
If you like trains,
spend some time at the Cody Park Railroad Museum and then check out Bailey
Yard, the world's largest railyard.
Need fun for the kids? Take them to the North Platte Children's Museum,
then head to Cody Go-Karts for some family fun.
If you're looking for the real Western experience, don't miss NEBRASKAland
DAYS scheduled annually the third week in June for real boot stompin' fun.
When you're ready to spend some time outdoors, Lincoln County offers three
lakes and five golf courses.
North Platte has so much to see and do, you might want to stay another day.
If my office can help you in any way during your stay here, please give
us a call at 532-4729.
Enjoy your stay in North Platte! Come back and see us again and please be
safe.
Sincerely,
Lisa Cox, Executive Director
